The bed’s delicate appearance, along with its light construction, owes itself to the use of very narrow, yet highly robust, rectangular tubes of crude steel, welded to a single unit. More than 150 proper, welded joints and carefully selected steel manufactured by German steel mills allow for no doubts regarding the quality or dimensional stability.
30cm high, you’ll sleep at a comfortable height, regardless of the size of your mattress. The metal bed is in standard 1.40m widelong, but can be ordered also in 90cm, 1.20m, 1.60m, 1.80m and 2.00m. Since every bed is handmade, optionally sizes can be requested though.

You’ll marvel at how light it feels, and yet so robust – the metal bed ION stands for the highest standards, the best quality and patented design. Moving on a regular basis is not uncommon in urban life, which normally calls for beds having to be disassembled part by part and put together again in the new apartment. It’s not unusual that scrapes, scratches and the repeated assembly and disassembly of the bed lead to eventual wear and tear.
