1.Place the bed to its intended place, facing upwards with the Tatkraft-logo.
2. Undo all the Velcro straps of the bag.
3. Fold the top flap of the bag to the left side on the ground.
4. Lift the bed from the head or foot and pull the bag out.
5. Remove all Velcro cable ties (marked red) from the frame.
For a possible re-packing we recommend you to keep these cables.
(In case you purchased a surface-treated version of ION, you must remove, not illustrated, additional cable ties)
7. The zoomed component is the tightener. It can be found four times, each on all ends of the bearing rails.
It ensures the slatted frame remains tensioned and prevents any slipping. In order to work properly, you have to ensure that the cotton webbing is guided under these tighteners.

repacking
1. Make sure that your slatted frame is properly seated.
Use the Velcro cable ties we supplied to fix the slatted frame to the bed frame.
Place the bed aside.
2. Spread the bag, with the Tatkraft-logo on the back, unto the ground.
3. Place the bed sideways in this position on the spreaded bag.
Make sure that the bed with the slatted frame side lies in the direction of the larger flap.
4. Pull the largest flap of the bag unto the top. Stick together all possible velcro fasteners.
5. Now pull the last side of the bag up to the top.
Make sure that all the velcro parts are neatly bonded together.
6. Please rotate the bed back on its regular position.
The slatted frame causes imbalance and can cause the bed to tip over.
Please ensure: when the bed should be transported on the side, place it with the slatted frame side towards the wall.

Metal as a Construction Material
The electric conductivity of the metal used to construct the frame is very high. Electricity is immediately transmitted through the material upon any contact with an electric source, which could potentially be life-threatening. For this reason, any cables surrounding the bed should be checked regularly for ruptures.
Storage of the Jute Bag
The custom-tailored jute bag, in which the bed is delivered, is a natural product and highly flammable. It is imperative that the product is kept away from sources of fire.
